Govt forms Far-Western Region Development Commission

The government has formed Far-Western Region Development Commission on Thursday.

The meeting of Council of Ministers held this morning at Singha Durbar formed the Commission under the coordination of Jhapat Bohara.

The meeting also changed the names of three hospitals in different districts.

Gulariya Hospital has been renamed as Bardiya District Hospital and Bal Hospital of Lahan has been changed into Ramesh Mahato Bal Hospital. Similarly, Sagarmatha Hospital has been changed into Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital. Ramesh Mahato is the first martyr of Madhes protest.
