MMC beat NPC to enter Ncell Cup final

Laxmi Hyundai Manang Marysangdi Club (MMC) defeated Nepal Police Club (NPC) 3-1 to enter the final of the Ncell Cup football tournament played at Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu on Thursday.

Sabindra Shrestha, Sujal Shrestha and Sulav Maskey scored for MMC while Jumanu Rai had scored for NPC.

As the match ended in 1-1 draw in the regular time, MMC added two goals in the additional 30 minutes.

Now, MMC will take on McDowells Ranipokhari Corner Team in the final on Saturday.

The winner team will bag Rs. 1.5 million, highest ever in the Nepali football history while runner up will receive Rs. 700,000 and semi-finalists will get Rs. 150,000 each.

Similarly, the best players including the goalkeeper, defender, midfield and forward along with the best coach will bag Rs. 75,000 each. nepalnews.com
