MMC, RCT set to compete for largest ever prize in Nepali football
Laxmi Hyundai Manang Marysangdi Club (MMC) and McDowells Ranipokhari Corner Team (RCT) are set to compete in the final of the Ncell Cup football tournament at Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu on Saturday to claim Rs. 1.5 million, the highest ever prize in Nepali football history.
The MMC entered final by defeating Nepal Police Club (NPC) 3-1 while RCT defeated Iceberg Madhyapur Youth Association (MYA) 2-0 to advance to the final.
The winner team will bag Rs. 1.5 million while runner up will receive Rs. 700,000 and semi-finalists will get Rs. 150,000 each.
Similarly, the best players including the goalkeeper, defender, midfield and forward along with the best coach will bag Rs. 75,000 each. nepalnews.com
