Doc advice now a phone call away
The Ministry of Health has started a 24-hour hotline service for the general public to get free advice from doctors.
As part of the extension to the government's tele-medicine programme, six doctors have been assigned to receive calls and answer health-related queries.
The programme, called 'Hello Health' has been launched to make health services more accessible to everyone, said the ministry. However, when Nepalnews contacted Nepal Telecom's enquiry service, it was learnt that the number has not been made available to the public. nepalnews.com
