Devkota's 'Munamadan' still drawing crowds in book exhibition

Transactions worth Rs 400,000 was made in the book exhibition organised by the Sajha Prakashan, Regional Office, Janakpur on Monday.

One of the fastest selling books in the literary exhibition were 'Munamadan' by the great poet Laxmi Prasad Devkota and 'Ek Chihan' by Hridaya Chandra Singh Pradhan. Likewise, the book 'Link English' of the Higher Secondary course was also sold considerably, RSS reports.

According to the office, books worth more than Rs. 20,000 were sold daily. The exhibition that was organised for 15 days was visited by intellectuals; general public, litterateurs, journalists and students, and more than 2,000 visitors bought books on wide-ranging subjects. nepalnews.com
