CA can't be brought back to life: President
In what is likely to give new dimension to the current debate between major parties on whether to revive the Constituent Assembly or to go for fresh CA polls, President Ram Baran Yadav Monday made it clear that the dissolved assembly "cannot be resurrected at any cost".

"Since the Interim Constitution and the Supreme Court verdict state that election is the only way forward the parties do not have any other option," RSS quoted President Yadav as talking to media persons in Dhanusha.
He also said that the Maoist-Madhesi coalition government cannot find a solution to the current deadlock and that there should be a national government inclusive of the Nepali Congress and the UML.
Saying that allowing the CA to dissolve was a blunder, he maintained that the parties must agree on fresh polls at the earliest.
Asked about Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai's remarks that he, as the constitutional head of state, should stop making political statements, Yadav reacted, "I don't think it's necessary to bother about who is saying what." nepalnews.com
