CJ Regmi stresses on 'energetic' judiciary to maintain rule of law, protect human rights
Chief Justice (CJ) Khilaraj Regmi has said that all judiciary apparatus should be energetic during the time of present transitional situation.
According to RSS, speaking at a greetings exchange programme organised by the Judiciary Officers Society in the capital on Monday, CJ Regmi urged the officials concerned to be active to perform the role of chief patron of rule of law, and protect human rights through speedy, effective and accessible execution of justice.
On the occasion, CJ Regmi said that process of judges' appointment has been initiated and the judges would be appointed soon so that court's obligation to shifting the hearing of cases would be reduced.
At the programme, justices of the SC, Attorney General Mukti Pradhan, judges of appellate and district courts of valley, President of Nepal Bar Association including others were present.
Likewise, CJ Regmi attended a greeting exchange and reception organised by the Constitutional and Judicial Journalists Forum in the capital on Monday. Nepalnews.com
