Gurung blames major political parties for existing mess

Dev Gurung |
Secretary of CPN-Maoist, Dev Gurung, has claimed that the country would not find its way out of its current political crisis until the three major political parties and Madhesi front do away with their autocratic mind-set.
Saying that the major political parties have already failed to garner political consensus to end the stalemate, he said that the country would be pushed towards further crisis and turmoil if the political parties try to forge an understanding among themselves in a forceful and unnatural manner.
Gurung, who was speaking in an interaction program organised in Bhaktapur on Tuesday, affirmed that the unconstitutional steps taken by the prime minister is the main reason the country is mired in political deadlock. He further said that the President has only worsened the crisis by becoming a mute spectator to the unconstitutional steps taken by the prime minister. nepalenws.com
