Indian police quiz 80 in connection with Nepali woman rape case
Indian police have questioned over 80 persons in connection with the alleged gang-rape of a 21-year old National Law School of India University student from Nepal in the Bangalore University campus, the Press Trust of India reported.
This comes as two days into the incident, police were yet to receive the medical and forensic reports.
"We have been questioning every possible person of the area, including rowdy elements, the residents and friends of the girl. So far, we have questioned over 80 persons," local police told PTI.
The vaginal swab has been sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) for analysis. The incident took place on Saturday night in the campus after the gang stopped the car in which the Nepali woman was going with her boyfriend. nepalnews.com
