Two girls die after being stung by bees in Gulmi

Two girls died in Hastichaur-7 of Gulmi district after there were stung by bees on Wednesday.

The victims are 10-year-old Krishna Kumal, daughter of Kul Bahadur Kumal, and 4-year-old Sajina Kumal, daughter of Ren Bahadur Kumal of Hastichaur VDC-7. Sajina died while being rushed to District Hospital, Tamghas while Krishna was pronounced dead upon arrival at Palpa Hospital after initial treatment in Gulmi District Hospital, police said.

The fathers of the two victims said their daughters were stung by hornets while they were in the field nearby the house.

Another 3-year-old Kusma Kumal, the second daughter of Kul Bahadur, has been sent to Palpa Mission Hospital for additional treatment while Saraswoti Kumal, wife of Ren Bahadur Kumal and her 11-year-old son Ranjit Kumal - are undergoing treatment at District Hospital, Tamghas.
