UAE interested in investing in Nepal’s agriculture, hydropower sectors

Minister for Information and Communications Raj Kishore Yadav held discussions with Minister of State of the UAE, Reem Ibrahim al-hasimy at Dubai on Wednesday.

During the meeting, State Minister Hasimy said UAE is willing to provide help and support to Nepal to meet its development goals. He also expressed interest in making investment in Nepal.

It is learnt that the UAE minister showed interest in investing in the agriculture, tourism, hydropower, and communications sectors of Nepal.

He informed the visiting Nepali minister about the World Fair to take place in the UAE in 2020, and asked for support of Nepal towards that end.

In response, Minister Yadav assured that he will take up the matter with Foreign Minister of Nepal and other concerned officials so as to provide all help and support to make the Fair successful. nepalnews.com
