Dual colour LPG cylinders from next month

The government has decided to introduce the dual liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) (red cylinders for consumers and blue for commercial users) from November 16.

Though the government has planned to enforce the system from October 17, it has postponed the plan until next month due to lack of internal preparation, according to Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC).

As per the plan, the corporation will introduce the red cylinders weighing 14.2 kg for household purposes while blue cylinders weighing 19 kg for commercial use.

The government has also already started collecting application forms from the consumers to provide subsidy for purchasing the LPG. nepalnews.com
