APF marks 12th anniversary
The Armed Police Force (APF) marked its 12th anniversary, organising various programmes at its headquarters, Halchowk, on Friday.
On the occasion, APF Inspector General Koshraj Onta presented running awards to the company adjudged the 'best'. Similarly, the best performers of the force were also honoured, RSS said,
On the occasion, 41 children of incumbent, retired and martyred APF employees passing the School Leaving Certificates Examinations-2068 BS with top marks were also honoured.
Similarly, IGP Onta presented letters of appreciations to those non-government organizations helping security peoples injured in different incidents.
Stating that a policy of zero tolerance has been implemented against organisational corruption and sexual violence, IG Onta said a separate unit has been established from the headquarters to the border security offices to control such crimes.
IG Onta also informed about the establishment of Welfare Service Center to expand the APF medical service and strengthen the APF Sports Club. nepalnews.com
