Mother, daughter missing after being swept away by river

A mother and her daughter have gone missing after being swept away by river in Kanchanpur district Friday.

Shanti Devi Magar, 35, and her 12-year-old daughter Janu Magar were swept away by Jogbudha River while they were crossing the river with their cattle, police said.

A team of police personnel conducted a search operation the same evening, but they could not locate the missing mother and daughter.
