Twin blazes in Bhaktapur

A man was burnt to death as two separate incidents of fire were reported in Bhaktapur on Saturday night.

Rajaram Lasiba (33) died when fire engulfed his house at Jhaukhel late on Saturday night, police confirmed. The body of the deceased has been sent to Teaching Hospital, Kathmandu for a post-mortem.

Similarly, property worth Rs 500,000 was gutted when fire broke out at a furniture shop in Dadhikot VDC owned by Dhruba Shrestha and Raju Khatiwada.
