Dahal bent on clinging on to power, says Baidhya
CPN-Maoist chief Mohan Baidhya has said UCPN (M) Chairman was changing his stance on the fate of the dissolved CA time and again to prolong the government's tenure.
Baidhya said Dahal, who had been lobbying for fresh elections after the dissolution of CA, started pushing for the reinstatement of the constitution making body to cling on to power as long as possible.
The CPN-M chairman, who was speaking to mediapersons at his residence in Kathmandu, said his party would only back a government led by its leader Ram Bahadur Thapa.
He held that the CA was incapable of promulgating the new constitution. It can only be revived to remove hurdles to go for fresh mandate, he added. Nepalnews.com
