UML Chair Khanal directs cadres to intensify protests after Dashai/Tihar festival
CPN (UML) chairman Jhalanath Khanal has directed the party cadres to intensify protests against the government after the Dashain and Tihar festivals.
During his meeting with party cadres at Bharatpur, Chitwan on Monday, Khanal said chances of forging political consensus are becoming slim and
directed his party cadres to gear up for the protest.
“The nation can not get an outlet from the existing political crisis until and unless national consensus is forged among the parties,” Khanal said,
and accused the UCPN (Maoist) of become a hurdle to efforts aimed at forging such a consensus among the political parties.
UML will continue to press for formation of national consensus government, he added. Nepalnews.com
