Uterine prolapse cases increase in Dang district
Of late, the number of women suffering from uterine prolapse is found to be high in Dang district, the District Public Health Office, Dang told RSS.
Many women with this problem underwent health check up during the recent health camps organised by the office in different parts in the district under the government annual health programme.
As many as 37 women were found with uterine prolapse at Panchakule, Saudiyar and Laxmipur VDCs during the health camps. Of them, 22 women were found living with severe problems and were provided non-surgical treatment.
Child delivery in early age and hard and heavy work during the delivery period are the main causes of uterine prolapse on women, said Camp's focal person Renu Shrestha. Nepalnews.com
