Finance Secy sworn in as ex-officio member of NRB

Newly-appointed Finance Secretary Shanta Raj Subedi on Tuesday took oath of office and secrecy as an ex-officio member of Board of Directors of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) before Chief Justice Khil Raj Regmi.

Following the swear-in ceremony, they held discussion on the budget allocation for judiciary, said Supreme Court (SC) Spokesperson Shreekanta Poudel, according to state-owned news agency RSS.

On the occasion, Chief Justice Regmi apprised the Finance Secretary of the budget required for the construction of a new building of SC, procurement of furniture and recruitment of additional employees, among others. Nepalnews.com
