NEPSE index gains 11 pts after week-long Dashain break
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has increased by 11.13 points to settle at 447.83 points on Tuesday, the first trading day after Dashain break.
The index had closed at 436.71 points before closing for Dashain on October 18.
As per the sub-indices, all the groups posted positive growth – banking by 14.81 points, development bank 1.26 points, hydropower 14.58 points, finance 0.28 point, insurance 7.72 points and other 14.09 points.
The secondary stock market registered turnover of Rs. 39.53 million trading 160,181 shares in 829 total transactions. nepalnews.com
