Producing nuclear weapons for peaceful purpose inseparable rights of nation: NAM

The 16th summit conference of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) concluded in Tehran, capital city of Iran, adopting the Tehran Declaration on Friday in which the NAM countries agreed that producing nuclear weapons for peaceful purpose is the inseparable right of a nation.

The declaration stated that the movement was effective for raising the common issues of poor and least developed countries, not aligned to any power, for world peace and brotherhood.

Similarly, the declaration has stressed on the need for making free the least developed countries from poverty, disease and fear.

The conference has decided to to hold the 17th summit conference in Venezuela.

The responsibility was given to Venezuela on the basis of suggestions received and conclusion drawn from the discussions from various levels of the conference.
