The CPN-UML chairman Jhala Nath Khanal underwent surgery of urinary tract to remove stones at Alka Hospital in Lalitpur for Saturday.

Hospital source said his operation was successful and he will be discharged from the hospital by this evening. The surgery was conducted with laser technology.
