Chess Olympiad: First win for Nepal
Team Nepal registered their first victory in the fourth round of the 40th Chess Olympiad after defeating Rwanda team 4-0 in their fourth round of the tournament in Istanbul, Turkey on Friday.
FIDE Master (FM) Manish Hamal defeated Teotime Rutaremara in the 53rd move while Candidate Master (CM) Keshav Shrestha thrashed Maxence Murara in the 29th move.
Similarly, Rupesh Jaiswal defeated Eugene Kagabo Mugema in the 51st move while Dirgha Raj Joshi thrashed Gervais Baxiki in 28th move. nepalnews.com
