Gold price touches Rs. 60,000 per tola

The price of gold jumped to set a new record of Rs. 60,000 per tola (11.644 gm) in the domestic market following a price boost in the international market on Tuesday.

The rate increased by Rs. 222 per tola from Rs. 59,778 on Monday to break the previous record of Rs. 59,900 per tola on Sunday.

Similarly, the price of the silver also increased by Rs. 9 per tola to Rs. 1163 per tola from Monday' s Rs. 1154 per tola in the domestic market.

The price of the precious metal has been in upward trend sine couples of weeks as the investors are attracted towards it as a safe and secure area of investment. Nepalnews.com
