Nepal secures second win in Chess Olympiad
Nepal secured second victory in the ongoing 40th Chess Olympiad being held in Istanbul, Turkey.
Nepal defeated Macau 2.5 - 1.5 in the sixth round of the tournament on Monday while it had secured victory against Rwanda 4-0 in the fourth round earlier.
Candidate Master (CM) Keshav Shrestha defeated Li Hui in the 82nd move and Prachanda Malakar CM Joseph-Mary Muteesaasira in 27th move while FIDE Master Manish Hamal lost against Hexilon Punongbayan and Rupesh Jaiswal played draw against CM Solomon Iii Bernardino Celis. nepalnews.com
