NATO, NATTA oppose guides’ remuneration hike
Nepal Association of Tour Operators (NATO) and Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) have strongly opposed the unilateral decision of Tourist Guide Association of Nepal (TURGAN) as it has decided to increase the remuneration for tour guides.
NATTA and NATO also termed the decision as "unilateral" as the decision was taken without tour operators’ consultation.
Issuing a statement, NATO also said that the decision is not acceptable. It has also directed its members not to implement the decision of made by TURGAN regarding the increment of remuneration of tour guides, informed NATO.
