Gold price sets new record of Rs. 60,536 per tola
Gold price has further increased to Rs. 60,536 per tola (11.644 gm) to set new record on Thursday from Wednesday’s Rs. 60,200 per tola in the domestic market.
Similarly, the price of silver has also increased to Rs. 1172 per tola from Rs. 1160 on Wednesday.
The price of the precious yellow metal has been in upward trend in the domestic market since couple of weeks following the price hike in the international market and growing buyer confidence in the local market.
As the investors are attracted towards gold as a safe and secure area to put their money in, gold price has been continuously spiraling up.
Gold was traded at Rs. 59,900 per tola on Sunday, Rs. 59,778 per tola on Monday and Rs. 60,000 per tola on Tuesday. nepalnews.com
