Former minister Keshar Bahadur Bista, who was expelled from the Rastriya Janashakti Party (RJP) recently, formally joined the Kamal Thapa-led Rastriya Prajatantra Party- Nepal on Friday.
Bista entered the pro-monarchist party at a mass gathering organised in the capital to protest against possible reinstatement of the Constituent Assembly.
Bista joined RPP-Nepal three days after the latter announced the end of unification talks with the RJP had failed. The RJP had said it was firmly against RPP-N's long standing demand for restoration of the monarchy and Hindu state. Nepalnews.com
