US Assistant Secretary Robert Blake arrives

United States Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asian Affairs Robert O. Blake arrived in Kathmandu on a two-day visit on Monday.

During his stay here, Blake will meet with Prime Minister Bhattarai, UCPN (Maoist) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, newly appointed Nepal Army Chief Guarav Shumsher Rana and senior government officials to discuss a range of bilateral and regional issues, including the recent delisting of the Communist Party of UCPN (Maoist) as from the terrorist list, the US embassy said.

Blake will also meet with business leaders, Tibetan community representatives, civil society leaders and human rights activists. nepalnews.com
