CAN, CG sign sponsorship deal of Rs. 21 m

Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) and Chaudhary Group (CG) Foods Nepal Pvt Ltd signed the sponsorship deal of Rs. 21 million to organise Wai Wai U-19 tournaments for the next five years.

The agreement was signed between CAN president Tanka Angbuhang and managing director of CG Nirvana Chaudhary amidst a function here in the capital on Monday.

As per the agreement, CG will provide Rs. 1.8 million every year to organise boys’ tournament and Rs. 900,000 for the girls’ tournaments.

Similarly, CG will also provide Rs. 1.5 million to organise regional tournaments as well as for the international participation of U-19 teams.

CG has been sponsoring the U-19 cricket since 2005. nepalnews.com
