Twenty-four hurt in Dhading mishap

At least 24 people have been hurt, 3 critically, in a bus accident at Jogimara VDC-7 section of Dhading district along Prithivi Highway on Wednesday morning.

The accident occurred when the passenger bus (Na 3 Kha 7881) heading to Kathmandu from Birtamod, veered off the road and fell some 100 meters down the hill.

Police said the driver lost control due to excessive speed of the bus along the hill road. A police team aided by locals rescued the passengers and rushed them to nearby Gajuri Community Hospital.

Among the injured, 3 are in critical condition and they have been taken to Kathmandu for further treatment. nepalnews.com
