Prez Yadav urges top leaders to give outlet to country before Dashain festival

President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav has urged the major political parties to end current political impasse of the country before Dashain festival.

During the meeting with the top leaders of the major political parties at Shital Niwas Sunday morning, President Yadav stressed on the need for consensus among four major political forces to give outlet to the country. He also assured the leaders that he would be supportive to them if they come up with a common ground.

The leaders, in the meeting, told that they would start discussions on the option of fresh election if they fail to forge agreement on the reinstatement of the Constituent Assembly (CA) within today itself.

Emerging from the meeting, the UCPN (Maoist) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal said that the meeting was positive.
