Nepal go down fighting to India in SAFF Women's C’ship final

Nepal lost 3-1 to India in the final match of the second SAFF Women's Championship 2012 played at CR&FC Grounds, Colombo in Sri Lanka on Sunday.

Nepal scored an opening goal in the third minute through Dipa Adhikari while India equalised the score in the eighth minute and doubled the score in the 66th minute. India scored one more goal in the dying moments to hand Nepal, which had played marvelously throughout the tournament, a crushing defeat.
