Ex combatants sit for written test to qualify themselves for integration

The former UCPN (Maoist) combatants have been appearing for written examination to further qualify themselves for integration into Nepal Army (NA) on Monday.

According to Army Integration Special Committee (AISC) Secretariat coordinator Balananda Sharma, written tests will conclude in all the cantonments today and the results will be announced on September 19. Earlier, the AISC had conducted physical fitness test of the combatants who had chosen integration.

According to him, the number of the combatants choosing integration has been reduced to around 1,500 after after 1,507 combatants were bidden farewell till Sunday.
