ITF director suggests Tennis body to look for int'l exposure
Director of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Suresh Menon has urged the All Nepal Lawn Tennis Association (ANLTA) to take initiation to participate in international tournaments by developing the game in the country.
Speaking at a press meet organised by ANLTA at his office in Satdobato, Menon, emphasised the importance and necessity of international exposure to the players to raise the level of their game.
“They need to participate in different international tournaments. It is impossible for players to raise the level of their game only through local competitions," he said.
He also highlighted the four aspects of game-- infrastructure development, tennis tournaments, players production and coach training for the game to boom in Nepal. nepalnews.com
