The eighth edition of NADA Auto Show kicked off at Bhrikuti Mandap Exhibition Hall, Kathmandu, on Wednesday.
Finance Minister Barshaman Pun inaugurated the five-day show.
Speaking on the occasion, minister Pun assured that the government was ready to provide necessary support if the private sector came up with a clear plan to develop the infrastructure of this sector.
Pun also informed that the government was preparing to invest the revenue collected from the automobile market in infrastructure projects.
Different automobiles companies from India, China, Malaysia, Japan, Korea and others including Nepal have been participating at the five-day expo, which is being organized jointly by Nepal Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) and Global Exposition and Management.
Two new two-wheeler models -- Honda CBR 1000 RR and Bajaj Discover 125 ST - unveiled at the auto show.
Similarly, new cars like Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, New Dzire, Ford Kuga and new variant of Ford Ranger, Nissan Sunny, Skoda Rapid, Hyundai Verna and Honda Insight also introduced in the show. Nepalnews.com
