Tara Air plane slips off runway in Dolpa; all seven on board safe

A Tara Air aircraft skidded off the runway of Jufal airport in Dolpa and slammed into the fence wire Friday morning. There was no human casualty in the accident.

The Twin Otter plane flying to Nepalgunj met with the accident at 9:20 am. The left wing of the aircraft, wheel and engines were broken as the aircraft slammed into the fence, local reports said.

There were three passengers and four crew members - captain, co-pilot, air hostess and engineer - and all of them are safe. nepalnews.com
