Minister Bogati seeks cooperation of Japan to boost tourism in Nepal
Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Posta Bahadur Bogati held meeting with former Minister of Japan and the Member of House of Representative (Diet) Toshihiro Nikai discussing possible area of bilateral cooperation to boost tourism sector on Thursday.
During the meeting, Minister Bogati proposed the former Japanese minister to help promote Nepal's tourism in Japan.
Similarly, he also held meeting with chairman of the Japan Buddhist Federation (JBF) Rev. Masamichi Shodo Kobayashi and appreciated the role of JBF in Lumbini Development.
Saying that government has planned to develop Lumbini as a peace city, Bogati also invited the JBF and its member to visit Nepal and in particular to Lumbini to participate the World Buddhist Conference to be held in January 2013. Nepalnews.com
