DPM Shrestha to leave for New York today to participate in 67th UN General Assembly
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayan Kaji Shrestha is leaving for the New York to participate in 67th United Nations General Assembly by leading a 8-member delegation on Saturday.

DPM Shrestha is scheduled to address the UN General Assembly on September 28, RSS quoted spokesperson at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Arjun Bahadur Thapa as saying.
DPM Shrestha will deliver statement on Nepal´s peace process, political status, constitution-writing process, effects of climate change, world peace and UN´s reforms in the General Assembly.
He is also scheduled to hold meetings with his two dozen counterparts including that of neighbouring countries on the sideline of General Assembly.
Likewise, Shrestha will also attend the separate welcome programmes to be organised by UN Secretary-General Ban-Ki moon and US President Barak Obama.
The DPM will be accompanied by secretary at the Foreign Affairs Ministry Durga Prasad Bhattarai,secretary at the Prime Minister´s Office Jaya Mukunda Khanal and other officials. nepalnews.com
