"The country's situation has worsened. We, too, are aware of it," Shah said, briefly speaking to media persons in Baglung where he visited the Kalika Bhagwati temple Saturday.

He added, "I found that people are very much worried about the country's worsening situation. I found people's love for the country is intact."

Shah, who spoke just a couple of minutes to the media persons, met pro-monarchist activists during his visit. His supporters chanted slogan suggesting him to make a 'comeback'.

Shah arrived in Baglung escorted by a motorcycle rally of supporters. He returned to Pokhara later on the day.

He had embarked on a trip to Gandaki and Dhaulagiri zones on Thursday amid protests by the local cadres of the major parties. nepalnews.com
