More than dozen passengers injured in Chitwan road mishap

Over a dozen passengers were hurt in a road accident in Chitwan district Monday.

The accident occurred when a speeding passenger bus heading towards Narayangadh from Madi overturned at Patihani VDC of western Chitwan after the bus driver lost control of the vehicle while trying to avoid hitting a pedestrian.

Among the injured, condition of three passengers is said to be critical. The injured are receiving treatment at various hospitals in the district. Police have arrested the bus driver and impounded the vehicle. On Sunday night, three persons were killed in separate accidents in Chitwan. nepalnews.com
