INLF Nepal chapter formed amid gathering of litterateurs, media persons
The International Nepali Literature Foundation (INLF) has set up its Nepal chapter.
A gathering of litterateurs and media persons in the Capital on Tuesday constituted the Nepal chapter with Prof Dr Sushma Acharya as the chairperson, RSS reports.
The other office-bearers of INLF Nepal chapter are Rajendra Salav (Vice President), Dr Yadav Prakash Lamichhane (General Secretary) and Harimaya Bhetwal (Treasurer). Similarly, the members include Prof Dr Ramesh Chandra Adhikari, Bidhan Acharya, Shyam Rimal, Mani Lohani, Abhaya Shrestha, Phulman Bal, Ganga Paudel and Lalita Doshi.
Manuj Babu Mishra, Prakash A Raj, Ram Kumar Pande, Chandrakala Newar, Toya Gurung, Asesh Malla and Mamata Jha are the advisors of the INLF Nepal chapter.
INLF was established on August 19, 2012 in London with the objective of promoting Nepali language and literature internationally. Currently it is active in Nepal and Britain and it will be gradually expanded globally. Mr Bikal Chandra Acharya is the International President of INLF which has its international working committee and a board of trustees as well.
INLF also has various departments as literature translation, children's literature, media and communications, finance and resource mobilization, culture promotion, Nepali language instruction, Nepali art and culture. Nepalnews.com
