Ncell Cup: RCT maintain winning streak, Saraswati win

McDowells Ranipokhari Corner Team (RCT) defeated Sankata Club 3-2 in the ongoing Ncell Cup football tournament played at Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu on Wednesday.

Amar Dongol, Yougal Kishor Rai and Olawale scored one goal each to defeat Sankata while Samuel and Barshat Gurung scored for Sankata.

This is the second victory for RCT as it had defeated Mahindra Bansbari Football Club 2-1 in their previous match.

With the second straight win, RCT are close to quarter-finals of the tournament.

Similarly, Saraswati Youth Club thrashed Samsung Jawalakhel Youth Club (JYC) 1-0 through a single goal from Ganesh BK to secure first victory in the ongoing tournament.

This is a second straight defeat for Jawalakhel as they had lost against Boudha Football Club 1-0 in their previous match. JYC are out of the tournament. Nepalnews.com
