PM Bhattarai seeks cooperation from dealers for smooth supply of cooking gas
Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai has urged liquefied petroleum (LP) gas entrepreneurs to cooperate with government to ensure smooth supply of cooking gas to the consumers.
Addressing the general convention of Gas Dealers Federation of Nepal on Saturday, PM Bhattarai informed that the government was planning to bring the gas cylinders with different colours in the market for business and household purpose from October 17.
He also requested the entrepreneurs to help government implement the plan.
"Sometimes consumers can not get cooking gas easily due to an increasing price of LP gas in the international market and black marketing," he added "So I urge entrepreneurs to help government implement our plan to ensure smooth supply of cooking gas."
On the occasion, Federation President Gyaneshwor Aryal opined that Nepal Oil Corporation´s monopoly on supplying the petroleum products should end. nepalnews.com
