After failing to identify the bodies that were burnt beyond recognition, police said they were preparing to send DNA samples for tests to Kolkata in India. The dead bodies will be handed over to the families after the test results.
The bodies were badly burnt as the plane had caught fire mid-air before falling on the banks of Manahara river. The aircraft was completely in flames after banging on the ground.
Of those killed in the plane crash, seven were Nepalis including three crew members, seven British and five Chinese tourists en route to Lukla. nepalnews.com
