Risk Management Conference of banking sector on Oct 8
National Banking Training Institute (NBTI) is organising a one-day “National Risk Management Conference 2012” on October 8, 2012 at Soaltee Crowne Plaza, Tahachal in Kathmandu.
“The conference aims to provide insights and knowledge on issues pertaining to various risks. The conference being organized with the theme “Risk we Take, Risks We Face” will highlight aspects of Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Liquidity Risk and Strategic Risk Management.” said NBTI in a press statement.
Being a conference the event looks forward to participation of more than 200 delegates that would include Board of Directors, CEOs, GMs, AGMs, COOs & Risk Headsfrom A, B, C & D Class financial institution as all of them have, are and always be facing risks and being prepared for it is crucial component for a successful future, the statement added.
The conference will be inaugurated by governor Yuba Raj Khatiwada and will feature speakers from across the region including Supreeya Pipatmanomai, Head of Group Special Asset Management & Global Derivatives Work-out Advisor Standard Chartered Bank – Thailand, Sujit Mundul, Director, Standard Chartered Bank-Nepal, Parshuram K.
