Nepali girl dies in car crash in Australia
A Nepali girl has died and three others were injured in a car accident in Darwin, Australia’s northern province, Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Aasha Gaha, 27, from Palpa district. Studying in Sydney, Aasha was travelling to Darwin during the Easter festivals with three other Nepali friends to look for job opportunities.
The three Nepali students who were injured in the incident are Ganesh Gaire, Bishnu Chhetri and Narayan Basyal. One among the injured is said to be in critical condition.
The accident took place when their speeding car veered off the road while trying to avoid hitting a bird, tripped four times before lying overturned. It is learnt that the car was travelling at the speed of 13o kilometers in the Stuart Highway. nepalnews.com
