CIAA files case against DSP caught red hand with bribe money
The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority on Thursday filed a corruption case at the Special Court against DSP Tejendra Poudel as he was caught red hand with bribe money of Rs 35,000.
According to CIAA sources, Pancha Tamang Lama, a second hand goods dealer, complained to the anti-corruption body that the DSP is asking for bribe. The CIAA provided Rs 35,000 to Lama to bribe Poudel. Later, the same notes given by the CIAA were confiscated from Poudel.
In the lawsuit, the CIAA has demanded maximum punishment to Poudel as per the Anti Corruption Act. Nepalnews.com
