Chitwan crippled by second day of bandh
Markets, educational institutions and factories remained closed while vehicles stayed off the roads for the second consecutive day in Chitwan on Friday due to a bandh (shutdown strike) imposed by Nepali Congress (NC).
Nepali Congress district chapter imposed the district bandh demanding immediate release of its two cadres who were arrested three days ago for beating up a driver in Pulchowk of Narayangadh.
