Three MJF-R leaders quit party to join TMLP
Three senior leaders of Raj Kishor Yadav-led Madhesi Janadhikari Forum (Republican) quit the party to join Terai Madhesh Loktantrik Party (TMLP) on Saturday.
Co-chair of the party B.P Yadav, vice chairman Sitaram Agrahari and general secretary Ekbal Ahmed Sah tendered their resignations to party chairman Yadav. In the resignation letter, they accused Yadav of running the party autocratically.
Of the three defectors, B.P Yadav, who was a Constituent Assembly member then, had remained in police custody for some time on charges of renting his diplomatic passport in return of hefty amount of money.
The three Madhesi leaders are to join the TMLP during a formal ceremony on Sunday. Nepalnews.com
